In this role you keep our licenses and contracts firmly under control. You work in the central management system of our clients, act as the organisational interface between IT, business units, vendors and service providers, and make sure that terms, licensing requirements and internal processes are reliably maintained. At the same time, you actively shape how we evolve our license and contract management.
Your Mission
As License & Contract Manager you own the maintenance, administration and oversight of all license and contract data in our central management system. You make sure terms, notice periods and renewals stay transparent at all times, so nothing expires unnoticed. As the organisational interface between IT, business units, vendors and service providers, you safeguard compliance with internal requirements and actively drive forward the evolution of our license and contract management processes.
Your Responsibilities & Tasks
- Recording, maintaining and quality-assuring license and contract data in Matrix42 ESM
- Monitoring contract terms, notice periods and renewals
- Acting as the point of contact for internal business units and external vendors, suppliers and providers
- Coordinating with business units to manage new and existing contracts and licenses
- Coordinating and documenting contract changes, addenda and renewals
- Supporting compliance with internal guidelines and licensing requirements
- Contributing to the optimisation and evolution of license and contract management processes
- Completed commercial or administrative training, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in license and contract management or in similar administrative roles
- Solid command of standard MS Office applications
- Structured, diligent and self-directed way of working
- Fluent business-level German, both written and spoken
- A team player who also organises their own work independently
- Strong customer orientation and reliable time management
- Hands-on experience with license and contract management platforms, ideally Matrix42 ESM
- Initial exposure to Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Understanding of common software licensing models and contract structures
- Experience with digital document management systems
- Experience with digital document management systems
- Confident written and spoken English
- Quick to pick up new tools and digital processes
